The life and tragic end of Jazz musician: Lee Morgan. This record is written from the POV of Lee Morgan, detailing his initial rise in the Jazz scene, fall from grace due to drug addiction, and re-emergence as a musician after partnering with Helen Moore. The perspective shifts from a cocky young man taking in the fame and lifestyle of a musician, to a more reflective tone of a person making up for past mistakes. Finally ending with an exhausted mention of a new gig as the relationship that saved his life from addiction has become frayed.
