about

This track is about growing older and accepting the responsibilities of adulthood. Reflecting on years passed and years to come, Danny Fantom and Sleepquil speak on their own personal growth through fatherhood and study of the Quran respectively. Because we are all from Worcester, I scratched in samples to say "I grew up on the 7 hills" tieing the record directly to the city. Production is provided by K'nen, whose bass lines give the track a somber feel, allowing space for a sober look into a concrete past and the fog of an uncertain future.
